708 “Amelia” is a small light brown sow with dark claws and a straight, short muzzle. Her ears are placed high on her head. In the fall, her fur turns uniformly brown and may have reddish fur around her neck.

708 can be seen almost everywhere in the river - the falls, the cutbank and the lower river. She frequently stands up for prolonged periods when fishing, a behaviour she has passed on to her daughter, 284 Electra.

708 is believed to be one of two spring cubs from 468 Reggie’s 2001 litter. She was given the nickname “Amelia” for her propensity to disappear.
